Services

Our clients include AIM listed companies, LLP's, small to medium size businesses, charities and local authorities. We provide a bespoke service to our clients, ranging from immediate telephone advice, documentation drafting, dispute resolution through to a full insurance backed employers package (including 24 hour employment helpline, Human Resource advice and consultancy, documentation review and update, and claims avoidance training) – see our Enhance Service.

In terms of dispute resolution/ litigation we provide representation in the Employment Tribunal and court proceedings and we are able to negotiate or arrange mediation on behalf of clients whether or not a matter has become contentious.

Our highly skilled Human Resources (HR) advisor, Sue Gibbs, is also available to assist clients. Our clients have found her particularly helpful where independent HR assistance is required, particularly where there are opportunities for resolving workplace disputes using mediation, or where there are sensitive and tricky difficult workplace issues such as bullying and harassment allegations.

We also provide a comprehensive training and workshop programme for businesses, covering all aspects of employment law and management development.

What makes us different?

You will deal with solicitors who have with many years experience specifically in the employment law field and who pride themselves in taking a commercial and pragmatic approach to what can be a very complex area of law. We will give you straight forward advice. We will never say “you can’t do that”. We are not here to lecture, but rather to advise you about the options available to you and assess the risks associated with each so that you can choose an option knowing the potential cost and risks.

Training

We are experienced in providing training to staff and/or managers/organisations to ensure that you are aware of current and changing legislation. Our training will be delivered on your site and tailored to your particular requirements. It will be interactive, to ensure full participation and understanding.

Fees

It is our policy to be completely transparent as far as our fees are concerned. We can provide our services in the conventional way at our standard charge-out rates, but we can also offer fixed fee arrangements and what we call our "risk alignment" (or shared risk) plan for employers which is particularly suited to dispute resolution/litigation – see Our Fees.
