Tribunal Compensation Limits:

Basic Award: £11,400

Compensatory Award: £65,300


Statutory Sick Pay: £79.15 per week (up to a maximum of 28 weeks)


Statutory Redundancy Pay: A "week’s pay" is the employee's gross pay up to a maximum of £380


Calculating Redundancy Pay: £0.5 weeks pay for each year of service for employees between the ages of 18 and 21. 1 week’s pay for each year of service for employees between the ages 22 and 40. 1.5 weeks pay for each year of service for employees aged 41 and older.


National Minimum Wage:

£3.57 per hour for workers 16 to 18;

£4.83 per hour for workers aged 18 to 21;

£5.80 per hour for workers aged 22 and older.


Statutory Maternity Pay/ Adoption Pay:

First 6 weeks: 90% of employee’s average weekly earnings

Following 33 weeks: £124.88 or 90% of average weekly earnings, whichever is less.


Paternity Pay:

Two weeks pay at £124.88 or 90% of average weekly earnings, whichever is less.
