Annija studied LLB Law at the University of Winchester, graduating in 2019. She is currently studying her Legal Practice Course with a masters in Law, Business and Management at the University of Law with the hope of taking up a trainee solicitor contract in due course.
Annija’s interest in law began from studying it at college, which then developed into a particular interest in Employment Law during university. Having completed work experience in the Employment Law sector, Annija decided to write her dissertation on the development of the tests for worker’s status alongside changes in society and technology. Annija provides a support role to solicitors at DCES, including the carrying out of extensive employment law research, attending client meetings and helping with general office administration.
In her spare time, Annija enjoys listening to alternative pop/rock music and likes going to gigs to support her favourite artists and bands. She also enjoys baking with her younger sister and says that she one day hopes to be on the British Bake Off, once she has had a lot more practice!
