Gemma Ward

Gemma Ward is a Senior Solicitor. Gemma trained with international firm, DAC Beachcroft, where she qualified as a solicitor in September 2011 and thereafter specialised in high value litigation. Gemma took a career break in 2019 to raise her young family, during which time she formed her own floristry business. After adopting her third child in 2025, Gemma decided to sell her floristry business and return to law.

Gemma joined DC Employment at the beginning of 2026, and brings with her both legal experience and an understanding of the challenges of running a business. Gemma works with our commercial clients and also advises individuals, across contentious and non-contentious areas of employment law.  Gemma is pragmatic and strategic, and is known for delivering clear, solutions-driven advice tailored to her clients’ objectives.

Gemma’s 3 children and 2 dogs keep her busy, and when she does get a moment to herself she enjoys playing softball cricket and pickleball (still learning!) and reading.
