DC Employment Solicitors Art Exhibition

DC Employment Solicitors Art Exhibition

DC Employment Solicitors are celebrating the arrival of their new partner, Darren Tibble, by hosting an art exhibition at its offices, from 5-8pm, on 19th November 2015. The exhibition will showcase the work of several talented local artists.

The evening will be a fantastic opportunity to welcome Darren to the practice, meet the DC team, network with local businesses and enjoy wine, authentic Spanish tapas from Master Chef finalist Annalisa Kiely and experience fine art.

A prize will be awarded for the best artistic piece, as judged by our guests at the event.

Art Exhibition

Each of the featuring artists brings something unique and exciting to the exhibition:

  • Pollyanna Doyle works primarily with oil paint in a style inspired by surrealist artists such as Frida Kahlo. Pollyanna likes to feature females within her portraits and has a contrasting portfolio of work some of which evokes controversy. She maintains a vibrant palette across her art and experiments with conceptual ideas on subjects including the environment, family and communication through facial expression. Pollyanna’s work can be viewed on her Facebook page.
  • Leigh Feilder focuses on illustration, fine arts and drawing. Themes throughout her work include portraiture and realism. She aims to create highly detailed artwork and hopes to convey more than simply a photograph. Her work can be viewed here.
  • Rachel T Solani is an independent Fine Artist in Surrey. Rachel describes herself as a ”tireless seeker of Artistic knowledge, a satirical enigma with an African sass and an undying love for detail.” Her philosophy is that ”Art should be a silent message to every viewer, that evokes a humbling sense of emotion no matter what the situation.” She enjoys using different mediums to create vibrant, realistic portraits of people and animals. She typically works on many portraits at a time and has many creative ideas up her sleeve, waiting to burst out. Rachel’s art can be viewed on her website.
  • Maria Vittoria Urbinati brings something slightly different to the table. She creates dynamic, eye-catching wire sculptures full of movement and elegance. She is also passionate about recreating interesting reflections of sunglasses in oil paint by playing with light and perspective. Maria Vittoria likes to experiment with different styles and mediums in her pieces and her work can be viewed here.
  • Mikey Dudley is an Independent fine artist from Hampshire, describing himself as an atmospheric landscape artist with a twist. He works mostly in acrylic and occasionally oils and couldn’t imagine not working on large canvases, “it’s the best way to express myself”. He has always been greatly inspired by the Masters such as Turner, Monet and Constable ever since he was young and has always wanted his work to reflect aspects of their work
